Carers situations may well have altered drastically and we would like to be able to assist where we can so that Carers can get the support they need. But we cannot do this without the valued work from volunteers.
This is done via a one off telephone call with the aid of some pre-guided questions. We can then create actions for our Care Support Co-Ordinators. We will provide you with the tools and guidance needed along with ongoing support. There is a real sense of personal satisfaction from knowing you can make a difference to Carers lives and that exactly what Volunteering with DCCS can bring. This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to upskill or gain confidence and experience for your CV, or simply help Carers.
