What Carers have told us about their funded breaks:
“I’m almost 40 years old and recently due to poor mental health, realised I never do anything for myself. This fund has made all the difference, I feel I can now care better for my daughter”. Melissa
“This gives me an opportunity to get a day away from the usual stresses of the daily routine of being a Carer and allows me to be pampered and looked after for a change”. Mairi
“Carers Allowance is so small there is nothing left for extras such as exercise classes or getting a massage. I am sure I am not the only one to give up a well-paid career to look after a loved one. It is a constant battle to keep yourself afloat. So, any help is like a life raft. Many thanks”. Rose
“Thank you for the help. This tablet I received will enable me to join in with zoom classes to keep me in touch and be able to do exercise classes which will reduce my stress levels and have time for me. Thanks again I really appreciate it”. Christine
