We are working with a fantastic new scheme launched by the Civil Service to recruit unpaid family Carers into employment but initial applications must be in by 28th October 2022
Going Forward Into Employment scheme is looking for unpaid family Carers in County Durham to apply for a role as a Customer Service Advisor alongside an apprenticeship in Customer Services or Business Administration. No prior qualifications are needed. This role is at the Valuation Office Agency in Durham City. The scheme includes:
- Fixed-term appointment with possibility of being made permanent.
- Role which openly recognises the impact of caring and offers relevant flexibility.
- A network of Carers in the Civil Service.
- A dedicated buddy who can help them understand the Civil Service and make the most of the opportunity.
