Health and Care leaders in County Durham are continually looking to appropriately plan for the right range of services to be available for people’s needs. A key area is for local services to help and support people as they continue to age and move into later life.

You are invited to join an online focus group session at 1pm on Tuesday 11th July to anonymously share your views and expectations around where and how you will be cared for in later life. The focus group is being led by an independent facilitator who will record the comments made and provide a summary of this and other sessions they are running back to local health and care leaders.

The focus of these conversations is care in later life, looking at how people can retain independence as they age in relation to where they may need increasing levels of support during their life.

Your comments will be used to inform future planning decisions regarding the range of services available in County Durham.
